Every trishaw ride is more than just a journey; it’s a conversation.
We film each one of our experiences as a “podcast on wheels”, giving passengers the chance to chat, laugh and share their stories while enjoying the ride. For many, it becomes a moment to reflect on memories, life lessons and personal experiences that we feel privileged to share.
A simple ride can have a powerful impact.
Being outside can boost mood, reduce feelings of isolation and spark conversation through shared memories and new scenery. Many passengers tell us they feel more relaxed, more connected and more like themselves again after a ride. The experience encourages social interaction, provides gentle sensory stimulation and helps people feel part of the world around them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you film the trishaw experiences?
We film rides to celebrate the voices, stories and personalities of our passengers. The camera isn’t there to stage anything, it simply captures real conversations, genuine moments and the joy of being outdoors together. Many families treasure these videos as a lasting memory of their loved one smiling, sharing stories and feeling connected, while the wider community gets to see the positive impact these experiences create. This is not mandatory, and we still offer rides without filming if you would prefer.
Who can take part in a trishaw ride?
Our rides are designed for people who may have mobility challenges, feel isolated, or simply want a safe and supported way to enjoy the outdoors again.
How long does a ride last?
Ride times can vary, but most experiences last between 40–60 minutes, depending on the setting and the passengers’ preferences.
Is there a cost to take part?
No. Through donations, funds and volunteers giving their time, we are able to provide the rides free of charge.
Where do the rides take place?
We will come to you and then choose a calm, accessible route such as parks, promenades and local community spaces, always tailored to the passengers and environment.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Passenger comfort and safety always come first. If the weather is wet, very cold, windy or unsuitable for riding, we may reschedule the experience to another day. We keep a close eye on forecasts and stay in touch, so everyone feels prepared. Our goal is to make every ride enjoyable, relaxed and safe, so sometimes waiting for a brighter day is the best part of the journey.
